Yeah, I finger tightened everything before everything was torqued to spec. I tried paying attention closely to any clunking noises this morning but couldn't hear anything.

I only had about 10 minutes of driving, but it was mostly occurred during low speeds. I'll redo the fronts tonight and drive around after that. Jackson gave me the number to an Eibach tech if things are still the same.

Do you have all the factory torque specs?

Here they are if you don't (this is off memory).

front (in ft lbs):
top nuts x3: 17
front sway bar endlink: 34
brake line: 24
bolts to connect knuckle to hub x2: 114

rear:
top nuts x2: 22
2 outer bolts on the lower control arm: 59
rear sway bar endlink: 28

misc:
the nut at the top of the coilover should be at 35
wheel lugs: 89

also make sure your perches to adjust ride height are snug.

Yep, I have all those torqued correctly. Only thing I didnt torque was the nut at the top of the coilovers. I was under the assumption Eibach would do those beforehand, since I didn't disassemble my coilovers.

But thanks for the torque specs. Flipping through pages was becoming a pain lol

I did a little bit of research and some guys with R2's on other cars said to recheck torquing the sway bar endlinks. It solved the problem for a few people.

I reinstalled the one side that was making the most noise. It helped a lot but I still notice some overall noise. I also notice if I move my steering wheel when i'm not moving it makes some noise. All of the noise is barely noticeable tho.

Did anyone cut the rear fabric to access the knobs yet?

I completely removed the lining rather than cutting it. My trunk is basically completely gutted.

I plan on cutting it after I get Robi's rear perch for more suspension travel. I think that will affect how much I have to cut mine.

Right now what I do is just remove those 4 pins (2 on each side) and let it flap around while im at the track. when not on track I just set everything to the softest so no need to move it.

Did you remove or are you missing the plastic isolator that sits between the spring and the spring perch? This helps the spring twist when under load.

Not sure if this will help with anything, but make sure the washers for the rear nuts are right below the nuts and not below the car, if that makes any sense.

I'll need to double check but I believe I have it. It's black. I did notice the 3 screws with rubber rings that mount on top are loose and hard to get perfectly in the middle. I believe it's for adjusting caster. Not sure if it matters once tightened

Yeah I have those on the top, visible in the trunk.

Well i've been emailing tirerack about my clunking and they did mention the R2's are suppose to have the OEM bumpstops cut by 30mm. Is this true or did they get the models mixed up?

I can't really describe the noise but there is the clunking and another noise that almost sounds like a waterfall.

Talk to Adam at Innovate Motorsports, @mines13 on here. He has a preproduction set with custom rates and has had some great results so far.

This clunking issue came out of no where with your kit and Dunant's kit. I would suggest dealing with Eibach direct. Please call and talk to Mark Krumme in technical sales and he will get you handled. I know we're trying to get Dunant's car in here soon so we can diagnose where the noise is coming from and if this is normal with the solid upper mounts or not.
