Thank God that's just a Motor Trend render.
Apparently, Nissan's new sporty hatch or whatever is riding on the Juke chassis, so it will be available in FWD, potentially AWD. They'd better not call it a Silvia. |

Ugly as sin, but glad other makers are taking notice of the sell outs and long wait lists for a car that people WANT to drive.

It's unfortunate that the only car Nissan can seem to get right is the GT-R. Why anyone would think that Nissan needs yet another fwd car in their lineup is just plain idiotic at the very least. I used to be a big fan of Nissan, but when I recently checked out there lineup in person I was way less than impressed.

Article says basically it is a hot hatch to target enthusiasts in 'developing markets' like China.

Nissan realy doesn't know what people want! Is it that hard to put the MR16DDT in a small RWD chassis and call it a Silvia!!

I think this is more like the response from Nissan to the FRS:

This is a poorly written article. It's looking like something to combat the VW and other "hot hatches." This looks like a desperate attempt to string something against the FR-S/BRZ to get hits on the article since it's a hot buzzword at the moment.
The article @GFo12ce listed looks more like an attempt to refocus efforts in competing in that market, or making the Z compete better with the Genesis Coupe in terms of price/weight/MPG. |

ha ha... Good question! But yes I did click the link but I just figured the *other* pictures were of another car entirely, not a car that's intended to be a comparo to the 86. That other car looks like comparo to the Mazda 2, but WAY uglier with an interior that birthed from pure sin.
