Very true! My car is only three weeks old and I've already passed 1,300 miles!

A dealer offered to order a WRB Limited AT for 28,191... MSRP is 29,365.

Put a deposit down or wait for the 2014?

I'm in the same boat as you. Except I am looking for the MT. Got an offer for$27,247 + TTL. I personally am going to just get the 2013. I don't anticipate any major changes to the 2014, and if you are planning to keep this car for a long time, I think I would personally rather have the first year model from a resell stand point. It's like every one wants an awesome condition '66 mustang, but no one cares about a '71 (I could be completely wrong though). Plus, you get to drive it an extra 6 months!

for what it's worth if you are looking at resale value, first year is usually a 5K drop in depreciation value with every subsequent year averaging 2K-3k.

So I don't know if there is really any true value in the first for this particular car. That's my opinion.

I haven't bought mine yet, but my local dealer sells Limited 6MT's for $26.7k OTD, no sales tax.

That's below invoice with zero fees. Why would they do this when they would sell for more any day of the week? People must not be buying them in that cold climate I guess.

Yeah it's not easy to sell sports cars in the dead of winter. Now's the best time to buy in New England; once spring gets into full effect, I'm sure they'll be selling them at sticker again.

$26.7k is a great price! I'll be lucky to beat that by a few hundred with my employee price. They still have to make money off me, but at least I get to fill out my own survey! "Yes, I was fantastic, I'd definitely buy from me again".

They're the highest volume dealer in New England. They're the highest volume WRX/STI dealer in New England as well. They've gone through a lot of BRZ's already. At one time they had five of them on the lot.

They offer special Subaru forum pricing. I'm sure if you just walk in there they'll try to charge you sticker.

It still amazes me that some people are still waiting for their BRZ. I'm sure you local New Englanders are aware, but I could have walked into any of the 5+ Subaru dealers around here and drove out with a BRZ at any time since early launch.
