You will see this on my new journal for Li'l Red, but can't hurt to mention it here...
QUESTION:
Has anyone run on the track... track only, with just one radiator fan or no fans? Seems to me that mine NEVER come on when I come back into the pits. Do your fans ever come on? Like sitting in line to go out on the track or coming in? My temps never get quite to mid point on the gauge.

I have the Jackson racing dual oil/water cooler in mine and they will only come on in the pits if I unintentionally (talking) idle it for a long period of time.

To follow-up on the fan removal, I've not had any issues and my fan is not coming on, nor am I boiling over when I shut it off. Albeit the weather hasn't been over 80.

On other fronts... I've posted

from Watkins Glen last month and Club Motorsports on the 5th, sixth and seventh. With my stock powered car I got within a second on Catalyst optimal laps to my tuned blue BRZ. The handling is well sorted. At first I was pushing some, without the front splitter. With the splitter it was almost neutral all the time.
The solid suspension is amazing. I can feel and hear everything!
I will be lower when I get my JRZ's back on the car and it should handle better still. I will never buy Ohlins again. At least not for a Subaru. A weak sway bar bracket broke. I could not get them to the desired ride height either without compromising travel.
I'm also putting a full belly pan and diffuser on the car using 6mm Maxmetal, a composite sheet much like Alumalite but tougher.
My buddy and I both tried Hoosier tire's Road Course Endurance Spec (RCES) - Spec E46 245/40ZR17 RCES, tire. Though they were fairly good for a few laps the weren't standing up well to 10-15 laps.
