My FRS had already been debadged and Toyota emblems added when I bought it (no GT86 badge...). While I don't care enough to have spent the money to do it on my own, I do think the Toyota badge looks a lot better than the Scion one. Their logo is kinda cheezy looking...

Both are still better than having the Australian flag as a badge anyway. ![]()

To be honest,I don't understand rebadging a car anyway, but if anything, this would make more sense, considering that almost every single part of the FR-S is stamped or molded with a Subaru name or logo on it anyway. In essence, this car is more Subaru than Toyota.

Well, the Subaru logo is supposed to be the Pleiades, so you could go for an itasha treatment, with this sort of art...

Spoke to CHP where I sometimes work (CA-USA) about this and this is what he said:
Yes, its ok to change badges. No, they cant give you a 'real' infraction. Worse they can do is write you up a fixer ticket, which by his words in court would fail to hold. Only time he ever did gave a fixer ticket for this was when someone placed a LS(??? forgot what make) badge that didnt belong to car on different engine. So basically, it was like a 4AGE with a F20 badge [example, so dont get mad], and he wanted to make sure the engine had all of its components oem and not 'Mickey Moused,' after he noticed many random cables and a custom intake/exhaust...etc Basically its like having LED's. They catch people's attention so they may dig for any little thing they can if they so choose to. I the asked, "so officer_______ would you do it?" And he answered, "absolutely! If it was my vehicle, i'd customize anything that did not void any warranties or obstructed my view while driving. Hell, i'd tint my windows all around. By the way Pack, you know I can give you a ticket for your tinted windows?" So I thanked him and left. He hasn't noticed my windows and he's seen my car like 10 times.
