Badge conversion legality
 

Anyone live in Ontario or even in the states and done a gt 86 conversion (badges changes to GT 86 instead of frs)? Have any of you been pulled over and questioned for it ? Reason I'm asking is because a friend of mine claims that he got pulled over in his frs with gt 86 badge and the cop asked about the car saying that the name different than the one on the ownership so be debadged it completely. I call bs but I want to know if anyone else experienced this

In all seriousness, I've heard stories not with frs's but with other cars in which the cop pulls them over for a different reason and states that by not having a badge, it makes the car "harder to identify"

Nope, I'm not going to bite! But boy that lure looks good.

My insurance card says Toyota Scion FRS, so if anything changing badge would make it more accurate lol.

Mine does too but changing the frs to GT 86 is what I'm scratching my head at.

I still havent received a copy of my old SSD that crashed from the NSA.

There are people in Gitmo today for doing that.

OP, badging a Scion as a Toyota is dumber today than it ever has been.

A buddy of mine once did hard time for rebadging his Scion FR-S to a Ferrari.

They won't care nor enforce anything regarding a badge swap/badge removal.
All they care is that you have a License plate that can be read clearly with valid insurance and registration.
