I've updated the first post to stop question about price, arrival date and option group. To this date no information have been told by sellers.

For me, it's totally the oposite. Here in Quebec, you can see everywhere Genesis Coupe and I love that. I hope the FR-S will be the same. Why?

If more people buy this car, more people will modify them = Easy to find aftermarket parts, even used !

And after a cupple of years, used OEM parts will be damn easy to find and cheap too.

Info will be easy to find.

I really don't give a $hit about who own the same car of me. It's SURE that a guy will destroy the car with ugly +55 offset 18" chromed wheels + massive UFO body kits with 213423 subwoofer in the trunk.

The only important thing to me is that my car look great to my taste.

We will see, but if theirs a lot of FR-S on the road I'll still have one in my driveway.

i'm waiting a couple of years for them to work out the kinks and add a high performance/special edition...I don't feel the need to have the first one

I'll be waiting for a few years until:
a) I finish paying off my Tacoma
b) A forced induction version is released
c) Some of the initial faults are worked out and improved in the first couple years
d) Then look very closely at the cost of a used Lotus Elise vs new FR-S at that time.

Car comes out: hurray then a year later they come out with some badass release series then you will be all sorry. Especially if they come out with that modded version late next year maybe q1 2013

they did what? The FRS will be cheaper. Get the NAVI system at the stealership then buy the dual zone ac IF... IIIIIIFFFFFFFFFFF you really cant live without that in miata sized car. I can see it already EVERY one of your passenger will bitch about your light sport car not having dual zone ac because they want 79f. while you want 75f.

Yeah they totally effed up the whole car. Just as much as nissan totally fucked up the base 370z because the top of the line has 1 or two other things that the base is not coming with.

If you don't test drive something before you buy it you've got a mental disorder. Would you buy clothes you didn't first try on?

Pretty sure most people's orders and down payments are going to have test drive stipulations written into them. You sure do like insulting people's mental capacities just because they don't follow your way of thinking don't you?

i'd put a pre-order down if there was a 100% refund conditioning not only the price and extras, but also the test drive, i'd never put money down that without a test drive if it wasn't refundable.

Just pre-ordered a white manual. I can back out and get my deposit back after a test drive, but I really don't see that happening. Should be here in June sometime according to the dealer.
