No, that's completely wrong. They use a different measurement system for the octane number, they don't use higher octane gas. US/Canada 87 Octane would be equivalent to something like 95-97 Octane elsewhere in the world (there's no direct conversion). Essentially, the rest of the world measures it one way, whereas the US and Canada measure it that way, then measure it a different way, then take the average. That's why you see the "(R+M)/2" on your gas pump - the rest of the world uses just the RON, the US and Canada use the AKI which is defined as the average of the RON and the MON.

I hate that there's no hook for my dry cleaning! I *told* the salesman I could only afford one car, and all he talked about was winter driving. He didn’t say *anything* about having to wear wrinkley shirts!

This is true, but I hang my business jacket to and from work, from a coat hanger hooked on one the tail light legs. it works perfectly. besides it a car like this, your jacket would be swaying all over the place. try it.

Isn't there something you can do? If they don't issue an immediate recall, you should lawyer up and have him look into Lemon Law. If you sue hard enough, I've heard that you have a chance of them replacing it with a brand new lexus LFA.

Yes. I test drove it, but did not race it. I know theriotically Si can beat you at the light due to the torque dip u have there. The reason why i was because i never respect civic SI.

I dont hate any platform really, only the exception of SI. 8/10 i see them on the street, they try to race. I always spits on them, though when i am pissed enough, i speed match them, and pull a bus length on them slowly away.....it is fun

Actually according to Motor Trend the Civic cannot beat you stop light to stop light in an FR-S:
Civic SI does 0-30 in 2.3 seconds, FR-S is 2.2
Civic SI does 0-40 in 3.4 secs, FR-S is 3.3
Civic SI does 0-50 in 4.7 secs. FR-S is 4.6

The FR-S has the advantage all the way until about 90mph when the Civic has the advantage from there past 100mph. Hopefully you are not street light racing into 90-100mph territory or you will most likely end up in jail.

At 0.1 seconds difference it would be down to the driver at that point... Too close to call.
