My vote would be to go for a FULL TRUNK/BOOT in either FRP or CF. Most probably FRP as it'll be cheaper. Not too keen to go for the double sided sticky method as the VHB 4949 tape that you usually use on them is DAMN STRONG and is almost impossible to take off. That reason and the fact imho(trying not to be snobby here), stick on spoilers look.. kinda cheap :/
You'll sooner rip off the clearcoat/paint on the spoiler before you remove it. Already have a Carsmo on my car, but am looking for something a bit more 'flamboyant' if you will. Will be keen to see how this pans out. If your doing a FULL trunk, don't forget about the release mechanism above the license plate(JP, EU and AUS cars have them) FR-S would most probably have the button delete(LEFT PICTURE) Proper Toyota 86 :P will HAVE the button already there(RIGHT PICTURE)  ** EDIT ** Disregard the above, that piece is part of the garnish. |
