Ok Now I am considering this for my car as it says it increases throttle response.
Does anyone here have it, and does it really provide an noticeable increase in throttle response.

I don't really think mine does much if anything. I've heard some say they think it does while others taking theirs out and selling it as some mechanics say it's a bad idea to have them. I'd say use the money elsewhere like bushings and put this mod at the end of your list.

I have one and yes it does improve throttle response. The motor feels smoother and revs faster. I'm very happy with this mod and I would recommend it to anyone on the board. People with experience with Boxer motors will tell you the motor does not need an external balancer. It is inherently balanced by design. The stock crank pulley doesn't balance anything anyways. It is just heavy steal to keep costs down. A quick search will pull up plenty of info on this matter.

It seems like this isn't a bad first mod, with slightly better throttle response.

A couple guys I know with lightweight pulleys didn't get a big difference until they paired it up with a light flywheel and/or drive shaft and used lighter wheels.

For my money... tires are the #1 performance mod you can make. And a tune is great bang for the buck on power. I'd save for one of those. If you're looking for a cheap first mod, I would recommend a drop-in air filter.

I just've ordered the intake, inlet hose and crank pulley everything with PERRIN. XD I hope it will increase 7 hp and 10 lbs or torque?

I noticed an quickness to revving and, uh, derevving? I thought it might have been placebo when I did it a year ago. I took it off last week and put the factory one back on as a buddy was asking about it and wanted to see the diff. There was a noticeable difference. Not a lot, but the engine is certainly more responsive.

I was going to say the same thing. Once I took mine off I missed it.

BTW, Kartboy sells one that's lighter and less expensive.

I installed mine as well as the intake and boot from Perrin at the same time. The biggest difference to me and most notable improvement was smoothness. The response is good, and driving the car seems to become more fluid. It simply makes the engine feel smoother. I am very happy with it.

I've got the Perrin pulley and CAI with inlet. Very smooth and improved throttle response. Looks really nice too.

Lighter rotating unsprung mass will cause a decrease in rev-hang (faster rev-drops). The stock pulley is almost 4 lbs so it would carry a bit more angular momentum than something lighter like the perrin crank pulley which is about 1.2lbs. You'll feel this with a lighter fly-wheel as well which is why they are a bit more difficult to get going as they are easier to bog down.
