really what it comes down to is if you want a nice sports car then you shouldnt put gas that will harm the engine in it

and if you can't afford the gas then dont buy the car and if you want the car but dont want to pas for the gas then quit complaining and get out cause there nothing we can do to change that

also if you have a premium fuel hungry car already then the ft86 will most likely get better MPG than it

yes people get to the same place as you on less gas but look at their car.

its pay to play with cars

i have premium fuel hungry car and it sucks to pay more at the gas pump. while people pumping regular gas and get to same destination for less.

if you can save $200 a year my dude~ you can buy kindle Fire for $200~~~ My dude~~
If every penny matters you shouldn't be buying a sports car, go pick up a Kindle Fire instead.

I don't get why more people don't understand this? It's the same with everything in the world.

Seriously????

How much do you drive a year? If you can't afford money for gas, I will say you can't afford this car. How can you afford your MB by the way?

I said it before and I'll say it again. I drive 3000-3500 miles a month, spend about $500 a month just on gas, and I'm not even complaining about the high-octane prices, which are, on average, $0.40 more a gallon. Seriously, who here drives more than me who is bitching and moaning? Who?

Epic win to everything you just said. And on a side note, your posts seriously make me piddle. Seriously.

Me neither. People really cry over $0.30 a gallon?

That is $4 more a tank of gas..

And if you drive a lot, and you are pinching pennies, and money is tight, THEN WHY ARE YOU BUYING A -BRAND- NEW CAR?

Yes, I did say terrible grammar, and that is because your grammar is terrible. Fortunately you provided even more examples with your following posts. By the way, calling me "kid" isn't really going to win you any respect.

none of your business.

i said, it will be my daily driving car so it will be nice if i can use regular gas or primium gas whenever i feel like it. wow, what a funny day.
It would also be nice if I could just fart into the gas tank and never have to fill up on gasoline, but the world just isn't nice like that.

And it is my business when you start posting in a public forum that you can't afford the gas but you can somehow afford a brand new car.

Go buy a used car, or what a few years for this car's price to drop and buy it used when it's cheaper, then use the money you saved on the gas.

Either way, it sounds like your dilemma is you can only afford only one of the two: Expensive Gas, or Brand New Car.

Personally, I'd worry more about the money you'll lose in depreciation on a new car the second you drive off the lot than you will lose in gas money.

Wait did my post actually get deleted...
-_-

Part load operation doesn't need highest octane, but especially when you don't have a variable duration engine (like BMW) it's hard to say how much torque you can safely use on lower octane.

do you own this fourm or something?
i clearly don't need your advice so. please dude.
Then why are you posting here? What point are you trying to make? Why don't you email Toyota or Subaru if you don't want anyone else's opinion?

Quote:
this is public fourm and i am trying to be polite as possible.

once again where did i say i can't afford gas. it will be nice if we can pay less at the pump so that oil company doesn't get so rich.

FYI,

the most profitable company for this year was oil company(Exxon).
Yeah, I don't like it either. Especially since they make more of a profit off of Premium than they do Regular. But what other alternative would you rather see?

I hear a lot of complaints from you, but you're not offering a better suggestion.

Quote:
talking about depreciation, dude you are funny. this is 3rd brand new sports car i am trying to purchase... talking about depreciation... tell me something i don't know my dude.
Okay, well how about the fact that an engine with a higher compression ratio requires higher octane?
