It would definitely surprise a lot of people in the real world. I remember seeing a video of an Evo VIII with an LS1 dropped into it... it was bizarre to see that car with that kind of sound.

KW Variant 3 Coils w/ Custom Spring Rates
It's got a T56 from the GTO

We're also running Cusco adjustable toe, camber, and stabilizer links.

Official corner weights are:

LF 850
LR 660
RF 864
RR 653

For a balance of 56/43.

So much for destroying the OEM balance... Looks like 3% or less of a difference.

3% isn't insignificant though... not saying that the car is going to handle poorly (because it won't), but it's not something to just brush aside. Also, the center of gravity is going to be a little different, since more of the engine is likely going to be hanging over (and in front of) the front axle, more so than the stock motor.

Front pulley to radiator distance is nearly identical to stock.

3% is more significant than it sounds. 54/46 puts 7% more weight on the drive wheels than 57/43, and with 1g grip available will have a 10% max acceleration advantage (.573g vs .524g).

At NHMS last weekend on street tires, even 49.5/50.5 wasn't nearly enough to put the power down!

I suspect you'll be a bit tail-happy with more weight in the front and much more tq. I'm guessing with the right swaybars, camber, suspension setup as well as some meaty rear wheels you can probably make up for most of the difference through tuning.

This car is fun to drive with 140tq.. I can't imagine how much fun with 400..

Nice project man! A true gearhead indeed!
