Dealer just replaced rubber seals due to the noise and the old seal being pulled away from the frame.

Still sounds just as loud.

My driver side window just started squeaking the other day. I noticed it when I parked to go to work and when I looked down at the window (with it rolled down completely) I noticed the rubber seal (Seal? Weather strip?) was warped slightly and it almost looked like it was sucked down in with the window, so I tried to pry up and loose with my fingers, but it would only budge when I rolled the window up. It doesn't look stuck anymore, but now every time I roll it down or up it squeaks bad.

I'm taking it in for the first oil change tomorrow, guess I'll add the window seal to the list of things to ask about. Crickets and idle miss on cold starts are already on the list.

How's the moisture in the window? I've noticed that after it's all dry outside after a rain, my window squeals like crazy...because there's moisture trapped on the INSIDE of the door panel. Have yet to do/say anything about it because it's one of those things the dealership can't replicate if it's not raining etc.

that's exactly what i put in my notes for my upcoming service on wednesday. After it rains and the window drys, if i put the window down and back up, its SOAKED. I can only imagine what kind of rust/deterioration this is leading to. I also get the vertical stripe of water around 2/3 of the way back on both windows even after the rest of it has seemingly dried out

My windows squeak anytime it's wet.. ever since I bought the car. I wouldn't even trust the dealership to fix it at this point.. I'll wait a while until they have a little more experience with these cars.. maybe towards the end of my warranty period I'll take it in.

The water getting trapped in the assembly is most likely causing the freezing issues as well. it snows/rains and water goes inside the door assembly. Then when it's below freezing outside, water turns to ice and window's stuck. I had mine get stuck a couple inches down for 45 minutes while driving with the heat on as high as it can go and had to wait in the parking lot with it until it finally decided to move again.

Mine squeaked at the top of the window every time you close the door. Took it tothe dealership and they replaced the whole widow seal. Driver side.
Now is starting in the passenger side

This is the view from inside of the car (The gap varies in size, and is a lot larger right after the window meets the seal. Photo was taken after closing the door for a couple of minutes.)

Hoping this doesn't get worse...
I had that problem with the seal went to toyota and they replaced it the next day.

Mine started to do this after 11 months. I'll be going to the dealer this week. Hopefully, this doesn't keep happening after the warranty is out.

We've had nonstop rain here in south florida for the past week. I've been getting the sqeaking and the rectangular shaped water marks on the window as well. I tore off the door panel today in a fit of rage and snapped these photos. The red arrows show the culprit for those rectangular water marks. Water is getting inside and my window regulator looks a bit rusted as well. I've only had the car for 6 months now! Wtf subaru!

Mine did squeak for like 30 mins, but it automatically went away -- probably seal being too tight or something.
