Not really a race but this Grey/silver 350z with Longo dealer paper plates when was flying through traffic on Los Angeles St., swerving in and out cut me off. BTW if the owner is here on this forum, please be more careful on the streets, it's a not race track.

An Infiniti G35 sedan tried to race me at a stoplight. I tried the "pick my nose" method while staring at him blankly while accelerating smoothly. Needless to say I have stumped my opponents and also regulated my break in process

I had some douche baggy on the highway in a Lexus acting like an asshat today. He looked in his rear view and saw my car (I cruise at about 75-80). Her proceeded to gun it. Good for him. I stayed the same speed. About 5 minutes later I catch up to him. He is hanging out in the right lane. I passed him doing about 75 and got over in the right as no one was there to slow me down. He immediately gets in the left lane and floors it. I stayed the same speed.
This is the second or third time this has happened. I'm guessing he was feeling small in pants. |

Theres just something about this car that makes it a douche magnet. So far after a month of owning it I've had an f150, a honda civic, and some type of old minivan packed full of people try and race me. Out of all the cars i've ever owned not once have I had an encounter like this.

I've never owned a car that people acted that way either. That said I have more people that nod or stare than act like assholes. So I'll take the good with the bad.
I'm 33 and a father of two. I'm not racing some **** hole with a spray tan. |

I pulled up to a four way stop light (4 lane road) and some tool next to me in an 2000 something Pontiac Grand Prix peels out and takes off. To top it off this car has a Fast And Furious wing on the back... I don't bite and just drive normal.. We come to a four way stop and the moron waits for me to pull up next to him again... I know I should just ignore him, but that wing just irritated me... So I rev it and dust him.. It is a 40 mph road and cops love to run radar, so I slowed down once I hit a little over 50 and then he blows by me going about 60... The car had really bad LED hids and that horrible wing..

I really want to bring the 86 up to Z-Max once they have a test-n-tune so I can see if she is indeed faster than my WRX was (feels it. had an '02 wrx. 227hp at the crank, and I've gotten the 86 up to 194.6whp so it'd be damned close), and so all these ricers down here can get a chance to run me WITHOUT me having to do anything stupid on the street

I had another Mustang being a douche yesterday. Seriously, there was tons of traffic. I'm minding my own business in the non passing lane waiting to make a right hand turn. This guy gets beside me and everytime the car in front of him moves he guns it.
He was a real class act too. Spray tan, sun glasses with douchey colored lenses, the whole bit. I'm starting to believe that some guys are really trying hard to make up for something. Maybe small in the pants?

Ford 500, bumping some shitty music with fake HID's feels like he has to race me at every light. I maintain normal speeds and after 3rd light he goes at least 60 in a 35 and yells some derogatory words at me with his ugly girl in the passenger seat. I couldn't really hear i was zoned out to hawaiian music.

I have more than a few stories with people trying to race me. Just a little preface tho, I live in a country where chaos is the law. No one knows how to drive and the driving exam is a joke. I have friends who didn't even take the test and got a license. People here are more concerned with the regional politics and the war going on next door.
This leaves the current population in a sort of organized chaos, especially on the roads. Highways here have ridiculously low speed limits which are not enforced by the local police (except on occasion and they usually announce it beforehand on the news). By the way, I live in Lebanon (in the Middle East). One more piece of important information, drivers have no idea what they're doing on the road so the "fast lane" doesn't exist. You have to resort to what we call "betweens" on the highway to get through traffic. Here are a few stories, I was followed by a G37S on a highway recently. He started flashing his lights so have me let him through. I floored it. He tried to get past me on the right but I was able to stay infront of him til traffic forced him back into my lane. I got to a few turns on the highway getting into the inner city which I could take with speed because of the car's amazing balance. I looked in the mirror, and he was gone, couldnt keep up with me on the curves. I started the GT86 Owners Club in Lebanon. We often do rides which seem like scenes out of the Tokyo Drift movie, drifting sideways around wide open roads one after the other. There are 1 or 2 areas which have been taken over by local street racers. Went for a drag with a 2013 Miata (MX-5) and my GT86 barely got ahead of him by the end, on the long 3rd gear, he had to move to 4th and thats where i pulled away a bit. I'm often a camera car with my GoPros taking vids of Evos, Camaros, M3s, tuned 135s and others racing each other. I'd love to take all the stuff to the track but we don't have one in the country. We're bordered by Syria (which has a civil war going on) and Israel (which we are at war with) so theres no where to take the car to a track at all. Just thought I'd set the stage and I'll provide a few more stories down the line. Also have a couple of vids if anyone is interested in seeing them
