bro....I have a feeeeeeling I know your type. you may come back to the series 10 later, without knowing anything about anything, my suggestion is stick with the series 10 unless you see it and hate something about it lol...

I would do the same... sadly, the brz wont arrive at pr till december at the earliest

Yeah, I'm struggling whether to stick with the plan or go with the BRZ. I'd wait if I felt like I'm getting the whole story about the ordered car, but am a little spooked about the double super secret "issue" serious enough that it's beyond a dealer's ability to correct during pre-delivery service.

I'm really happy for the rest of you taking delivery soon and that whatever teething problem there was is fixed now. Maybe save a place for me in the 10 Series Registry thread I was hoping to start!

just got notified by my dealer that my car will arrive around 6/16/13 in NY so dunno what happenning. he trying to find the boat name for me now.

torqdork, dont give up on your car!! Do you think it is possible that they are reluctant to sell you a series 10 at fleet price? Making up excuses so you back off from your deposit?

dealer just informed me that mine is sitting in the vancouver port and I have till moday to decide what port installed options I want. Sales rep told me that the touchscreen is not included

Speaking of PIO, my dealer sent the list of those available for 10 Series cars. Name is followed by PIO code, no pricing yet:

TRD Exhaust-37, Paint Protection Film-3P, Ashrtray-A6, Rear Bumper Applique-EF, Bespoke featuring Aha Premium Audio System-P3, and Wheel Locks-WL.

If things work out, I'll be getting P3 (for the GPS) and WL, already have new Perrin 2.5" catback and TRD CAI.

On my options list I have it listed as "Pioneer Premium Audio Upgrade" at $0 charge, so I'm damn well making sure I have either the 5.8" touchscreen Pioneer Premium audio upgrade available on the 2013 FR-S, or the standard 6.1" audio unit coming for the 2014 model. No way will I purchase the vehicle with the stock headunit, not at this price.

I've been following this thread for a few weeks. Thanks to all for the info I've been reading. I was able to put a deposit down last night for mine and have my VIN. I, along with Pablito, was told it would be in NY ~19 Jun and down to me in Northern VA ~first week of July. Not sure how true it is but I was told that all dealers are getting one and the larger volume dealers may get two. I was very happy (and surprised) that there was no mark up for this area. I've read that even though the price is what is advertised, that the dealer didn't have to sell it for MSRP...once again, not sure how true that is either. I would like to know if anyone finds out the name of the ship for this shipment. If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to reply with any info I know.
