When did this nugget of info come out?

And does it make over 9000 HP? I'm a little further out than most who are active here since I'm having a kid next month but this really dampned my excitement.

if you look at any other catted EL header the price is around 1k. UEL Cost less because there is no Cat. I expect nameless to be in the same ball park as p&L and Fa20club

Jason said it...there was talk of a "SCCA legal" one that didn't require cutting/modification, but that one doesn't have the "best" runner lengths/bends. Did you read the thread bro?

But yep, we've been inundated with orders and are putting that as our highest priority which is why this development has been taking so long. We're also interviewing welders right now to add some folks to our workforce to keep up with roughly 350% growth since last year. Have some huge FR-S & BRZ news forthcoming as well.

Ahhh sounds like two versions of a header that I don't want...

No I must have been tired I had thought that was for the turbo project..

We'll see when dyno sheets come out if the extra 4-500 bucks is worth it.

Not sure how I feel about fans and coolant reservoirs being changed and replaced nor the ceramic coating that seems more than optional.

i don't see how anyone is shocked at the price.. namless parts are not known for being inexpensive... Honestly i was expecting closer to 1500 so a little over 1000 sounds great to me. P&L and fa20 can both be optioned up to nearly a grand.

But yeah, we need dyno sheets of the final configurtion so we can all make a final decision.

I a little bummed there have not been more dyno charts for the P&L and fa20 then again the p&l group by just closed so there should be a bunch shipping soon.. I hope we will have some more tuned and un tuned results so we can get a good apples to apples comparison.

SPAL fans are regularly used in racing, they are quality.

Coolant res doesn't serve a function aside from being an expansion tank... commonly relocated on many vehicles.

Ceramic coating? Why WOULDN'T you get it? So you can wrap the header in a material that will absorb and soak in oil then start an oil fire?

If I bought a header this expensive, I'm definitely ceramic coating it. I saw my Hooker headers rust at the flanges and I'm not even in horrible weather conditions besides heat. Had they have been ceramic coated, I don't think they'd see any rust.

Yeah, no reason not to. It helps keep the heat in! MO' POWUH!

Last I hear nameless was using 321 Stainless. i doubt rust would be an issue even uncoated.

Yeah no doubt. Losing heat in the pipes is no bueno. I'm getting my headers coated and I'm going to wrap them in a turbo blanket (since I have 7 square miles left over from an old kit).

I think $1000+ for a header this elaborate is about right. People expecting this to cost the same as the FA20/P&L/UELs are delusional. Just in sheer materials and labor cost, there is more piping/bends/welds here. It's a 4-2-1 long tube header made of good steel. For those looking for absolutely the most powerful and well built NA EL header, this will likely be the one.

It's good to have options!
