I only hear a rattle when i'm idling. When I push the clutch in it goes away. Normal?

The rattle is not as pronounced as it is during a still idle. I still hear mine while going 30mph in N. Just have to really listen for it.

Yeah all I meant was is when I'm not in gear it definitely rattles even if I'm coasting.

When I first started to notice the noise, no. After 1-2 months I now hear it after the car is warmed up. How about you?

For awhile I thought something plastic was loose, like the engine cover.

I will have to check to see if I get it when I am at idle. I only hear it when I am going downhill in nueural and it does not occur every time. I got my car in January of this year and it only started happening last month. Mine does it when it is warmed up.

Same issue here.

Strange rattle at idle, push the clutch in and the rattle disappears but returns as soon as the clutch is released. I notice it more on a cold start.

Does anyone have any real idea?

I have checked mine does not rattle at idle only when coasting in neutral.

Any updates on this? It seems to go away for me once the car is warmed up.

I'm trying to catch this on video but it's hard. I can't get any shit fixed ever unless I present hard evidence...

im having a Strange Feeling about this im having the same rattle with an Auto around 1900 to 2200 RPM if you press on the gas and let it stay on these range it just keeps on doing so. I have not noticed the Rattle as i mostly use my paddle shifters. but this morning going up the bridge engage at auto this did it. i tried maintaining the same rpm and it does it again.

reading the thread some say its normal some say changes needs to be done. do we need to have this check or entirely normal?

That sounds like when my engine is idling while parked... but I'm sure it's something else. I never heard of that while braking tho...

Well...I already brake in gears, especially at that kind of speed. (unless this is something bad to do.... o.O)
