Back on topic,

I always enjoy the Subaru powered VW buses, although that almost makes sense.

We have all seen the hayabusa motor swapped into small cars, that almost makes sense too...

Here's a confusing one for you, a 540 CuIn BigBlock stuck in a G-body elcamino (78-???)...how is that confusing you say? My boss owns it and refuses to put larger than 235's on the back, so if at any point you explore the last half of the skinny pedal you roast tires...even at freeway speeds, he intentionally has the kickdown limited to WTFO throttle, if the trans downshifted under throttle it would be really bad,

Last generation WS6 models had a bump (10hp in pre-2000 models and 15 in post 2000 models) in power over the standard model 5.7's. Guess a suspension package does add some power....and yes i know the bump in power came from a ram air intake and the modifications to the FD did include it...

I would love to see a twin-turbo'd Bentley 6.75l V8 shoehorned into a Mustang!

Sadly, SBC swaps lack imagination. I love seeing creative engine swaps.

LS swaps make sense (big power, light weight, compact size), that's why you see a lot of them. Instead of being sad, be imaginative and put a rotary in a Corvette.

We're putting a V6 from a Lexus ES300 into a 91 MR2. Not unheard of but I wouldn't call it common. We also have done a Beams engine in an AE86 , we helped with an RB25 in a 240, a 1J in a Cressida, and lastly we're doing a V8 from an ES400 into a Cressida. Again, most of these not unheard of, but not too common either. It's all good fun.

MR2

AE86

Cressida

13B in anything is confusing as shit.

Most puzzling swaps to me are stock-engined RX7s...
