My cars in no particular order 1985 Toyota MR2 - rusted through with 200k+ miles on the clock. I laughed every single time I drove it. 1999 Mazda Miata - my daily for several years during my undergrad. It made maybe 100whp? But even that's a stretch. I'd purposely go out of my way to find the curviest road to drive where ever I was going. Also my first convertible and turned me into a believer. And the first car I felt like I could beat on for hours and still drive home without getting stranded. 197x VW Bug - Nothing worked, it was completely rusted, and smelled of gasoline in the cabin. Such a riot to try and keep up with traffic or go fishing for the next gear. 1998 Honda VFR800 - I have the sixth generation now but I'll always remember the fifth gen. It was the first motorcycle I could eat up several hundreds of miles in a day and then do the same thing the following day. Motorcycle road trips became a norm after this and I found my favorite category - sport touring. 2004 Porsche 911 - Pop's track toy. I had impressionable experiences with 911's growing up but until he got his I'd never driven one. The sound, the sight, the smell(!), the feel. Unmistakable and completely unique. Most challenging car I've driven and for that reason: fun! She's a femme fatale. I imagine an older air cooled 911 is this amplified. Notable mentions: Rent4Ring Stage 2 Suzuki Swift Race Car Tony Kart with HPV 4 Honda S2000 Yamaha R6 |

I rented a brand new dodge dart on a business trip, took me 80 miles to burn a half tank of gas. My god that car is pathetic, slow, boring, awful, lethargic, and uninspiring.

The most fun vehicle I've ever driven is a 125cc 2-stroke shifter kart. No question. It makes pretty much everything else I've driven (or ridden in) feel slow and unresponsive by comparison.

My list is pretty short and unimpressive. In no particular order...
- FRS obviously - 1990 Eclipse GS. At 18 and coming from an '86 P.O.S. Grand Am coupe (which I loved dearly and have fond memories of) it was the most amazing car ever. - 2004 Mazda 3s. For a recent college grad it was a nice mix of sport and practicality. - 2006 Subaru Impreza. Was the wifey's, but is now my DD as she's got a forester. - 2004 Xterra. Depends on your definition of "fun", but man I had fun with that offroad. (like I said, pretty uninspiring list!) Honorable Mentions: - Never drove it, but my brother had a 1988 Trans Am GTA with a 350LT1 swap. Loved that car and wish he never got rid of it. - My dad had a '69 442. He would always speak quite nostalgically about it and I think that's what originally got me interested in cars and driving... |

If we include bikes here...
My race prepped GSXR 600 was pretty fun. (Friggin FAST! I would have had to put weight on it if I wanted to actually race it) My Aprilia RSV1000R Factory was probably less fun than the Gix, but super ballsy and powerful. Different kind of fun. I drove a Ferrari F430 Coupe for a few laps (but in the rain). Wasn't too bad, except I wasn't allow to manually shift it. But I can't complain too much, it's a 430.. My BRZ is kind of my bike replacement for me since I had to sell them. I can't say its more fun than a bike, but it's pretty damn fun for a car! |

1. Racing Supermoto but motorcycles probably dont count.
2. 2005 Porsche Turbo S. 3. 1999 BMW M coupe, I had 2 of those and actually will probably get another. 4. 1988 BMW E30 M3, will get another one too. 5. 1972 Chevelle SS, daily drien 10 sec car. Stollen in 2005, Fken thieves. I also used to rent Elises from of all places, Enterprise. $86 dollars a day. Whenever I would get the itch for one I would rent one and it quickly scratched the itch. 30-45 min is all I could take. |

Number 1 for me is my 1997 Honda del sol Si. Sure it's kinda slow and FWD but it is really fun to ride around in.
I enjoyed my 1998 Lexus GS 300 too but not nearly as much as the del sol |
