Had a run-in with the landscaper at my office. Apparently they have no respect for other peoples property and no idea how to use landscaping tools properly. They managed to pepper the drivers side of my car with debris and out over 20 chips in the side windows. I'm emailing the property management company not that I expect any help from them.

Initial estimate for damage:
Drivers side window: $200
Drivers side quarter window: $300
Tint: $100
Buffing/detailing side of car: Unk
Labor for the glass: unk

Just venting to those that are most likely to understand my frustration.

Did you confront the landscapers when it happened? This happened to my bosses car (except they actually shattered the two side windows) and the guy tried to walk away and pretend he didn't notice until my boss called him out on it. They paid for the repairs.

And 500 for the 1/4 window?! The one near the A pillar? Or the rear one?

I didn't know until after work and they were gone. But the car covered in debris and and the chips explained the chips. I already talked to the property management and landscaping manager. I'm meeting with them later today to inspect the car. I took pics yesterday prior to moving it or doing anything else.

Sorry, I missed that question...

I edited it. It's actually $300 est. The rear one. Pricing based on another thread where someone had it broken and replaced. No idea on labor though.

Will also need to find some place that does Pinnacle Tint to match the other windows. The only one I've found so far is a place called Absolute Perfection in Sykesville.

Man, it felt like heaven getting to drive my FR-S to work this morning after 3 weeks of driving other cars. The past few weeks, I've had to drive: old Lexus ES300, old Civic LX, Mazda 3 rental, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited rental, and my mk6 GTI.

Forgot how good the FR-S feels to drive! It's like coming home and eating mama's cooking. Love this car
