With the factory rolled fenders, and fitment specs from the Greddy FR-S, I have done some math on the potential offsets for a flush look.

At 8.5" width, you can run +32 and have the same fitment as the Greddy car.

At 9", +39 is required.

At 9.5", +45 is possible.

So your 8" will fit with an extra 19mm before flush, or 3/4"

All of that is just fine, and I think those are pretty safe fitments without stretch being required, however guys that want the super sunk face or fat lip look will be pretty disappointed. I am not one of these people however.

It should also be noted that the Greddy car did have some pretty serious stretch by my standards, I prefer a perpendicular sidewall.

Yes they will, but the Greddy fitments were stretched. Its more then just the wheels fitting, its a tire with some meat on it fitting as well.

So now the wheels that I want are available for the FR-S with 5x100 but the widest width is 7.5 and the offset is 48mm. I have a question for those who know wheels? Will this size lay flush with the fenders? I don't think so, so I am asking.

I have these on my M3, so I hope ADVAN will make the RG-DF (forged) in 5x100 in the future.
