It'll take 2-4 months for the plates to be made and you have 90 days to pick them up. If you have to, you can put them on your current car until your FT86 is ready. You'd be out an extra $20 (I think) for the swap fee, and GT86 might look a little strange on your Tacoma, but so what?

You can use http://www.acme.com/licensemaker/ to see how they'll look.

Can you pay by the year for those? 0.15 hotel juliets a year I could part with, but I don't think I want to put up the full 1.5 all at once.

Idk, ask Rick Perry. Or perhaps Herman Cain...

My all time favorite plate was on a WRX STi that a friend had. I could never put it on my car but it was hilarious.

(Sound it out)
EWRXON

More juvenile ones for the AS1:

YUH8
4N (Character minimums?)
YAWD
DRFTK (Or some variation of Drift King)

Other ideas:
TAKUMI (Nod to Initial D -- but people might think this is your name)
GUNMA (Factory location)

Hotel Juliets.

You have to be on the IRC channel, or at least have partied with Zaku, to understand them fully.

Not my idea, but when I saw it, I steered clear.
