I don't see many BRZ's, but do see more FR-S's on the road, so this makes sense. I've only seen one BRZ in person and that was because it was at a shop I was getting mods done at.

I think the BRZ's are more expensive because of the luxury add ons like heated seats and stuff. Those things weren't necessary for me so getting an FR-S was like getting the same car for way cheaper.

That's because only 86 were up for sale that month. There was a program called "First 86" by Scion where they drew a lot of 86 people to sell to.

So 25,000 FR-S/BRZ's have been sold in the USA in the past year. Not bad...

This was shocking to many because the Ford Falcon, once one of the two biggest selling cars and a long mainstay of the Australian car landscape, only managed to sell 860 in the same period. This is bittersweet for me as a former Falcon owner who switched to the 86 in March.

Strangely I've seen more BRZs than FRS in my day-to-day driving. Saw three BRZs today and not a single FRS.

Yeah, I suspect they actually just decided to count all those sales in late May as June sales.

These things are still moving pretty quickly. I've only seen a couple cars sit on the lot for more than a few days since it came out last year. Most of the new PDI cars already have a 'sold' sign on the dashboard still.

I'm still hoping/waiting for a turbo.

Today at the Toyota dealership, I counted 11 FR-S for sale on the lot. Pretty big number considering the dealer is a smaller one.

Production has probably caught up with demand in many areas, but Chicago probably isn't a prime FR-S place.

End of year sales/memorial day & July 4th sales coming for other models. Places that can't move them will finally be willing to trade them for a Camry or Lexus.

Loving the trends here.. BRZ's are still sitting at 1 to 3ish FRS. This may translate down the line to a slightly higher resale..... maybe not..

I wouldn't count on it personally. I think most people drive these car to enjoy it, not as an investment. Maybe in like 40 - 50 years time they could be like rare muscle cars are now (no, I am not saying the twins are comparable to muscle cars, just making a point). Then again, I don't know if making 7.5K-ish cars a year counts as rare.
