KHF KANSAI RACING A NO NO FOR OUR CARS
HI everyone,
Just had to tell you that customer service is a must as a professional. In business, professionalism is not just a word but an action. Yesterday i was to pick up my car and some trouble came up with a few small parts. I knew it was nothing much so i asked questions to understand exactly what is happening. Instead, no answers just attitude which then escalated to shouting and verbal abuse. I said nothing just asking questions and kindly. in the end by asking simple questions like can we get it started by later it led to,"DIDNT YOU HEAR WHAT I JUST TOLD YOU IT CANT BE DONE TONIGHT!" "IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO START UP WITH OUT THEM!" "YOU KNOW WHAT IM TIRED OF THIS JUST COME FOR YOUR CAR OK!" now bare in mind i kept my cool,so i reach there and hes giving me smirk remarks and trying to explain in a tough talking manner why it cant start. His explanation still was so technical that i asked him to slow down and explain. he flips again. No time to talk to me in a respectable manner. Then says monday he will order the stuff but by that time i had already called tow truck. He must have been crazy to think id let him continue working on my car or even leave it with him. All over two bolts you can get at any hardware store. he even went to say , "you think im going to leave my shop just for you!?" What im trying to say to everyone on this forum is there is a way to talk to people and a way not to as a professional. I would not recommend him to anyone. My mechanic is overseas and i knew of this guy through a friend. I hope this helps all of you in where you go. This was not a complicated job the guys actually working with him were cool. They knew he flipped on me for no reason. So not knocking those guys but their High Performance Specialist. |

Who did you deal with? Allan? It's Kensai Racing not Kansai Racing btw. They are good with Hondas (kind of a Honda race shop) and they are expensive. If you want a Subaru race shop try CanJam |

i have no idea what i just read
and it seems to me you have no idea how cars work since the tech talk flew over your head and if you think using hardware-store bolts on your engine is a good idea then go ahead anyway without a detalaied and properly formatted explanation i think you're not ready to slap turbos on your car

This is what I’m reading between the lines.
The installer ran into some snags and is taking longerthan anticipated (just time, not money). The OP doesn’t understand why the job is taking so longeither due to a language or knowledge barrier. (to me this seems like both)….Although how does he know that he can get replacement parts at Home Depo ifhe doesn’t know what the issue is in the first place. HERP. Now he towed thecar from the shop and posted a brick-wall warning that their customer serviceis bad. Even though the specific details still elude all of us. Who cares about language ability? EVERYONE SHOULD, mostof all himself. I grew up with a father and mother, (and now living with awife) who aren’t fluent in English. And guess what, half the problems thatarise during a confrontation with a customer service agent when it’s about acomplaint are due to poor language skills by either poor or improper use ofwords, improper inflection, repetition and generally poor knowledge of therequired jargon. “can you please explain the reason for the delay?” and“why you not make work now!?!” to aperson who’s busy or agitated can trigger vastly different reactions.Especially over the phone. If I tell you that I need refined plutonium to providethe 300 jigawatts of power to my delorean in order to transverse time and youhave no idea what plutonium, jigawatts and a delorean are, you’ll be staring at me with a blank face. And guess what, that's not my problem! And personally I have a very negative view on anyone whojust throws money at a problem without learning about the whatever it is thatthey are doing and then blaming whoever for whatever without even realizingwhat is actually the root problem.

First off. I know about how an engine works. It's when you tell me something and I don't understand exactly what you are saying and your working on my car, I'd expect to be told clearly. The parts are the fittings for the oil lines. I didn't wanna get specific. The car should have been done and if problems arise i understand it will take longer. But when I offer help to get these things and you don't even wanna LISTEN then hey I'm out. I could have gotten the fittings and got it done. I do everything on my car properly and always have and always will. I'm just sharing to everyone Ty experience and don't wish that on anyone. Period. I'm not asking a favour I'm paying money for a professional job.

I was kind and always kept my cool. I never got upset only trying to help the situation and this is how I got treated.
