in Massachusetts, but I doubt I'll get them. BCKSTG would be my next choice as I am a Stage Technician and can be often found backstage working. Damn Mass and only allowing 6 letters!
Not only are we limited to 6 letters, but plates must start with a letter, can't have letters and numbers intermixed (so it's either all letters or starts with letters and ends with numbers), and can't have dashes or spaces. Also some combinations are banned for stupid reasons (AS1 isn't allowed because someone decided it's too close to ASS).

FYI, according to http://www.mass.gov/rmv/vanity/index.htm:
Taken:
FT86
FRS (probably someone's initials, rather than a reference for the car)

Available:
BRZ
GT86
SUBOTA

Yea...it's wicked lame

I think I might go for GT86 even though it's a Scion, or maybe SCNFRS, that isn't taken yet. I wish I could reserve something now so I didn't have to wait till I buy the car...

I looked into this a while ago for that exact reason (also OODDODO. At the time I saw that the Ds looked almost indistinguishable from the O. The 0 looked different though.)

Anyway, I'm sure this varies by jurisdiction, but the vanity plate rule was that I and 1 were considered the same character (same with O and D). If some had "BIG WIN", then you couldn't get "B1G W1N" because they were the same.

So the cameras would have no trouble with that plate.
