Anyone going to the late june events in Winchester? I have never auto crossed and would like some guidance/etc.

I should be at the one on the 16th, but likely not on the 29th. Winchester is 2+ hours for me to get there so I typically only go to 1 of the 3 they do there.

I know the location is pretty far for a lot of people (it's about 1.5 hours away for me). However, we plan to offer the $10 discount when you sign up for 2 slots at Winchester. So for members you get 12 (possibly more) runs on one of the largest lots for $50.

Also, one of guys is plans to trailer his industrial smoker to have smoked ribs, chicken and pork butt in addition to the normal dogs and sausage. The ribs and pork is THE best I've EVER had.

At these events are there people who will help/teach you how to drive quickly

Only if you have brakes.

More seriously there's plenty of very knowledgeable and friendly people at these events. You can even ask one of the organizers to ride along with you as an instructor. They can point out where you're messing up and give you advice on how to correct it.

Most important advice I've gotten for this particular car is to drive smooooooth as butter. Slow is fast.
