Awesome dealer! let me testdrive manual FRS
Went to see the car few days ago. The dealer was awesome. He let me testdriving the manual FRS despite of my ability to drive a manual car.
I learned manual when I learned how to drive a car. However, I changed to automatic after driving a manual car. It has been almost 10 years since then. I kept telling myself to get back to manual. Yes, I made the right decision. So, I went to the dealership to check out the FRS. I humbly told the sales that I could drive the automatic instead. He then told me he had no issues of letting me driving a manual one. Yes, I stalled many times. I finally got that moment. Just want to share this with you guys. I came home, and I was not be able to sleep well. I could not forget that moment. I drive an awesome car. I would say it was very responsive. It was a huge leap from my old beater accord. I did not get FRS unfortunately. I got a brz instead. However, both are awesome cars. I love every color including silver. |

That was nice of him. But that is one reason why I made sure my BRZ only had 6 miles on it! (which really is silly because I learned MT on my BRZ, so I stalled plenty myself).

What color did you get? Are you going to have to wait a month or two for it to come in?

Hmm its great for the test driver but crap for everyone else if you don't buy it, especially if you're not comfortable driving manual. Having said that, good for you and a lesson for the rest of us to think twice before picking up new cars that have been sitting in the lots with several miles on them!

Honestly, I would not mind buying a car that some people have stalled the car few times. I would care much if someone have tried above red line before the break in. |

yeah I felt bad. But money really talks here. I have convinced myself I would definitely get FRS from him. However, the price of an FRS could not justify my purchase. I went with BRZ instead. 27,000 limited against 25,500 frs. Which one will you choose?

It's better than what I was looking at. 27,050ish for an FRS with bespoke and a spoiler. Made no sense where that 2k magically came from. Went to another dealership and walked out with the same 27k price with full 5axis kit installed.
