Thank you for clarifying. What I thought you were suggesting was pretty off-putting.

42052D is the part that holds the fuel filter and comes apart to install the fuel pump into. the filter is contained and not servicable within this piece.

@robispec
I it convenient to use some fine SST filter mesh to replace the filter (and increase flow, then use an inline filter as previously mentioned? I have lots of varying grades (mesh sizes) here at my shop |

As I understand it, you have to cut the white plastic enclosure in order to access the filter, so there is no way to remove/replace that filter without rendering the part useless. I don't have great pictures, but this one helps a bit. ![]() That is the bottom part of the enclosure with the Fuel Pump sticking out and the sock filter. That enclosure wrapped around the FP is what holds the filter inside. There is no way to access the filter without cutting this plastic open.

You'd be surprised at the difference between hacking something apart and having a full CNC machine shop at you disposal. If need be I can remake the whole part out of whatever I please to, There are likely several ways to remove and replace while retaining the function of the part. I've done worse I assure you. Mike |

I was referring specifically to any thought that this might be able to be replaced withing the stock piece, plug and play.

with a 3d digitizer and a 3d printer someone could whip up a prototype in no time. EDIT:... get craking then @SkullWorks lol, I'll buy whatever solution you come up with... I haven't even run a 1/4 tank of E85 yet, or been to the dyno to do my tune yet and I'm already hooked on the stuff.
