<--- Hooked on STX. Strano's car is AMAZING. His setup is mind-blowingly easy to drive. And I can prove it. I'm a hack driver sitting in third
And Mr. Pallotta is a second clear of me. Must be the E85... surely there's not a talent gap or anything like that

Great job in a new car. Did you drive it at the Pro as well?
I am running CS now and was planning on running C-Street next year but STX is very tempting. I actually made a couple impulse purchases like some 17x9 RPF1s to use on the street which may start a slippery road. Looks like RTR ended up with Lance Keeley in 2nd in a FR-S and Trevor in 3rd. it looks like weather may be playing a part in things but not sure if it affected RTR or not. |

Somebody needs to tell Andrew to sandbag a little. With that kind of performance, we'll get kicked up to STR!

In comparison, I ran Z1's at the first Milwaukee event of the year and we had wet/drying conditions. Lance was running the Z2's and we ended up a couple hundredths apart. Yesterday he raw timed me by .75. Congratulations to Slater for the win in his MSR and to Lance for his second place finish. The Milwaukee region swept the podium spots in RTR! |

In the Pro maybe but in the tour Andrew would have been second over last years STR national champ. He also would have had the fastest time in STR on Monday. I still think the car stays in STX since E85 goes away next year and he was running E85.

Just some observations:
-Andrews car was the only one on E85.. -for the Pro , Andrew was on launch control, launching about 4k -Hankooks vs.the rest. -loading up the class with known high-profile drivers trying to prove something isnt healthy for our cars cause in STX. and could backfire sending us to STR. -correct setup is crutial for the twins to do well, as they respond very well to those changes for the most part. -passing 250 runs now on developement, and starting to get some things figured out. -congrats to Andrew and the whole Stranoparts gang for a sweep. Iinteresting strategy.

What are the feelings on tires right now? I was dead set on switching to Rivals for a while but I'm thinking more and more about staying with RS3s

I can see that, I was just asking for any anecdotal information. I don't take the contingency into consideration, performance is what I'm looking for
![]() Wondering why RT* is dominated by Dunlop and BFG though

^^^ Well Lance is on Dunlaps....and Trever is on BFG's
Personal opinion here.. I think Each of them have their strengths and weakness's.. and any of them can win given the right circumstances, Driver and conditions. ..is there a clear favorite at this point??? nope.. STU- 1st-BFG's, 2nd-Dunlap, 3rd-BFG STX- 1st-Hankook, 2nd-Hankook, 3rd-BFG STXL- 1st-Hankook, 2nd-BFG, 3rd-Dunlap RTR- 1st-Dunlap, 2nd-Dunlap, 3rd-BFG STR- 1st-Dunlap, 2nd-Dunlap, 3rd-BFG Again...I think it depends on the driver... me personally, I am going to run the RS3's at Peru, to see what I think...unless it rains...then I am sticking with the Z2's Bill

oh on a side note.. Neal Tovsen put down a raw time that was within 2/10's of Andrews best time on Sun. but coned it.. and he was on BFG's.
