Sounds like you have a good dealer who actually attached your name to a car. Congrats!

At MSRP they will probably sell...once the dealers play their mark-up games (adding crap wheels - charging 5K more), who knows?

Talked to my dealer today after putting a deposit down at end of April, he said they just assigned names to their cars coming in on Monday and have no idea of delivery yet so I fear mine might not be here for awhile.

He's right. "Our" ship arrives first in Richmond, B.C., on Monday and after discharge sails overnight to Portland, OR, for discharge on Tuesday June 4th. I'm hoping to take delivery on the 10th or 11th. I don't know if Calgary is serviced by rail or faster truck, but imagine you'll be an owner by June 20th at the latest. Congrats!

Florida is serviced by ships sailing the Southern route that head directly to the Panama Canal then Houston, Puerto Rico, Jacksonville, Baltimore, Newark and Boston. The Northern route ships head for Richmond, B.C., Portland, Benecia and Long Beach. The longest sail transit time to any US region is Boston @ 28 days from Japan.

Most likely the longest total transit time will be to owners in the middle of North America who must wait for theirs to be loaded on a rail car at the POE then offloaded in a central continental location rail yard, then loaded on a truck and finally to the dealership. East coast owners get theirs loaded directly on a truck for transit to a dealer. That not only speeds delivery, but also avoids the dreaded "rail dust" generated by metal on metal wheels on rails blowback that usually needs a good polish to remove from the car before first wax. However, I'm pretty obsessive about finish quality that others might not notice.

So with this special paint of their's, ya think it'll be hard to match it? I'm really not a fan of the scion oem spoiler.

I was hoping that since Five Axis is a part of the Scion Optimized program, they will have the Five AD Body kit available to order in Silver Ignition, although just interested in the rear spoiler.

Same goes for Beatsonic which I believe is a part of the Scion Optimized program, hoping they too also get availability of the special color.

From looking at the scion site, it seems like we are getting the standard Pioneer touch screen deck that looks identical to the Bespoke deck. Its kind of crazy that upgrading will cost 1100.... I kind of wanted navigation (yes I heard bespoke is slow). I am disappointed that the 10 series doesn't have navi compared to the BRZ. The last thing I want to do is to pay another 800 on a new aftermarket pioneer deck for navi after paying a $3000 premium for the car.

Do you know if this deck has satellite radio capabilities? I read online that it is 300watts (which is decent...) The BRZ navigation screen and audio interface is very different here in Canada on the Sport Tech model (Limited in USA). They look nothing alike. It wouldn't surprise me if the Canadian FRS 10 series has a different interface from the one shown in pictures when it arrives.
