That is true. Matter of facts, Subaru will use this same engine in the WRX STI next gen and boosting it up to 350 HP and 350+ Torque as an estimated number. Subaru President in Japan already gave words that the New WRX STI will be the fastest WRX in 2 Decades long.

I see no reason why you should spend so much money on custom building your engine. But again, who am I to judge, I don't even own an FRS.

All I can observe is that these car will be a different Animal with just 50 more Wheel HP. 2800 LBS is God damn Light !!!!

It will not be the exact same motor however, they are going with a lower compression setup and pistons and there will be other changes. They are not just going to grab our motor and put a turbo on it.

I heard awhile back that the FA was going the way of the Impreza and STI,....this just makes it more of a reality now. It many ways it is a much stronger engine.

I can only speculate why he went so low, he is much more informed than I am,....10 psi in this car tho makes a world of difference. Even the 50 would too if it gets rid of the power dip.
