Just a side note here guys:

Recently I've had some people inquire about pricing and availability on parts and then end up spending MORE money from online stores.

My guess is that
-you see a "Sale" and assume its the best deal
-if it's listed on their website you assume it's in stock and it's usually not
-you think it's more reliable to use a fancy online ordering system from somewhere 5 states away

When you ask me about pricing and availability
-the first thing I do is google it and make sure I give you the best price that I can based on online pricing
-the second thing I do is make sure I can give you an accurate ETA on shipping so that you don't end up waiting around for a long time without being aware. I have one of the top distributors in the country and when they tell me it's backordered, that means its probably backordered for everyone else in the country so I'm not the only one

Why buy from a small business instead of a big company?

Ask ANYONE on this forum who deals with me, I always answer the phone, even after hours and weekends sometimes. I always reply to PMs as fast as I can. I come out to every meet and autox event that I can to meet everyone and put faces with usernames.
I recently made a purchase for my car from a big online store because my distributors could not get what I neeeded. I called 10 times and emailed 3 before I got a reply from someone.

Sorry if I'm ranting, and honestly this isn't even about business, this is from somebody who used to be in your shoes and bought my parts from lots of different vendors and shops. I want you to get the best deal and have the best support for your products and cars!

I would deal with you even if you cost more(which you never do), Brady, because you're a great guy who is supportive, helpful, and knowledgeable!

+1. Brady rocks. Best customer support I've found. Being local is just a huge bonus.

dropped my car off last week to have an alignment done after installing ground control coilovers and stance rear control arms. the car went from barely drive able, to 100% perfect and at the exact specs i requested. all for about the same price as local chain tire shops who probably would have not been anywhere near as exact, if they would align to my specs at all. my next option was TPC racing (porsche race shop) since i knew they would take the time to do it right and actually care for my car unlike most quick chain shops. lets just say i saved over $250 with Brady and could not have asked for a smoother, better quality job. thanks!

When someone pm's asking for a quote on a list of parts don't list the price of 1 or 2 parts and then never reply about the rest.

This was not an attack on anyone, I'm not much for arguing and going back and forth all I'll say is I apologize but I'm Open Monday-Friday 9-5 and I can't guarantee a reply after 9pm on a Friday night of a holiday weekend.

Okay, thanks. What is your price to dyno? I want to get my car on one before I start changing things

I use a local shop's dyno, he charges $75, I don't mark it up, that's what he charges me as well. It's good to have a baseline for whatever mods you do so you can see how it compares.

My advice would be whichever dyno you do your "before" reading on, try to use the same dyno or at least the same type of dyno for your "after". It give a more accurate picture.

I'm bored Brady.

How much for a carbon fiber driveshaft? PST or DSS, don't matter.
