I think it was mentioned in this thread before but is the owner of the white FRS with red wheels on here? I saw your car as I was leaving F&F6 thursday night.

So I ran the car at Grattan Raceway yesterday and aside from a little under steer the car handled awesome! The under steer should be fixed by adding a little more camber up front (only at -1.3). Was making passes on Camaros, mustangs, evo's, and a focus ST. Had a few good sessions running with a C6 and the RaceRamps STI. Car was very quick around the track and only seemed to lose time down the long straights. If this thing had 250 whp it would be downright fast!

Was very surprised on how much attention the car was getting as well (probably more than any other car). After almost every session there were people coming over to ask questions and look at the car commenting on how nice it looked. I think people were quite impressed on how fast it was running for having street tires and 170 whp. Fortunately I can drive a race track much better than an autocross course.

I went to watch the autocross today at the silverdome. Looked like a fun course.. as soon as I sat down to watch I regretted not driving.. but I wanted to spend the day with the family and not cone duty..

Took some pictures:

This is SCCABRZ's car.. but a different driver. These first three pics are using the "miniaturize" setting on my camera.. kind of cool I think.

Sweet STI!

Look at the back wheel coming off the ground.

Not the cleanest tarmac to drive on..

The body looks like it's going to slide right off the subframe as if it was a pickup truck.

I love these stickers

Awesome!! Thanks for the pics!!

Course was quite a bit different from the opener, it wasn't as flowing or generally as fast but it had it's own charm.

I am starting to feel more confident in the car, my best clean run had me in 9th of 14 in pro class and 31st overall, my best raw time was dirty but dropped another 8/10s and may have been pro class trophy worthy. All in all, I'm very happy with the car, Shawn (codriver pictured above) seemed to think it was a real blast too, which is a big departure from his fully prepped ESP 5.0L Mustang.

The stock Michelins are now showing wear, this was event #2, 20 total runs thus far plus 11,000 road miles. The outer shoulders are scalloping a little, and they may have some minor flat spotting from the heavy breaking zones from todays course. The tires have significantly more lateral grip than what I was expecting, and they accelerate well with the car in stock prep... but they just won't slow the car down. The screech scream and squeal, the ABS does it's best to sort it all out but it can be pretty unnerving.

Unfortunately, no video today as my gopro's battery died while it was sitting in paddock because I forgot to shut it off after adjusting the camera angle with the phone app
