So I am working until 2 on Thursday, but I have to go to Stockton to pick up my GF (She will get off no later than 4). If you guys leave the bay around 4-5 I will meet up somewhere on 5 with you guys.

yeah I figured I'd take Thurs off to either get ready or get a head start. But I'm flexible, if you guys can't leave until evening I will just nap earlier so I'm refreshed for the drive haha. About Thurs night hotel, yeah I'm inclined to book it so I have somewhere to crash regardless of what time we get in. Don't want to drive all night and then not be able to rest/clean up until checkin time on Friday which wouldn't typically be till 3pmish?

Why don't we just plan to do a LV informal meet up with SoCal (or everyone) sometime Friday then ... either before or after the autox.

Just found out that there is a chance I could get these days off and make the meet. I read through most of the later posts to catch up, is the plan still leave the bay on Thurs afternoon/night? Any folks planning on leaving earlier? Sounded like we were gonna try to meet up with social folks?

What's the plan on the way back? I may actually skip the festivities and head back sun morning.

I'm going to try and get off by 12pm that way I can go home clean up and be ready to go.

LOL well Thurs night is pretty cheap, only $29 so I booked it anyways.

I think everyone has their own plan going back.

Im heading down to LA sunday and spend 2 nights there

Festivities are on Fri night and all day Sat. So I plan to stay through Sat night, check out Sunday morning and head home some point on Sun. Not sure when though, I might gamble some more, or eat more good food before rolling out.

I say get em anyway, they're pretty handy, been using mine on the drives. Good for suggesting fuel/pee/stretch breaks during the caravan over.
