$2k more than the standard model isn't THAT bad.

I'll bite assuming that primo paint job looks sharp. Silver is a bit bland for my taste but have read some encouraging comments about it when seen in person.

More like $3k after taxes.

Some more information...

Scion USA released this additional information. The daytime running lights turn on anytime the headlights are off. I want the DRLs to run with the headlights too.

Numbered plaque which the 10 glows after being exposed to light and pictures look like its that glow-in-the-dark neon green. Numbered plaque is positioned on the door under the window controls.

Electroluminescent dash panel displays everytime a door is opened, not just on start up.

Exterior badges light up when you unlock car via keyless remote. Meaning they might not light up when just unlocking via smart access when touch door knob which would make sense if they are "locator" badges.

Me too. Are BRZ DRL's always on?

I'm wondering where ID badge #1 will land. Ships are loaded/offloaded first in last out, so if they load in order produced the early #'s may wind up in the last areas offloaded like Long Beach or Boston.

Heck, they might be the last FRS's coming off the line for MY2013...

No. I'm pretty sure the BRZ DRLs located above the fogs are only on without headlights. They also have a LED ring around the HID, not entirely sure how that works, remember seeing members want it to work as a DRL but it doesn't.

The GT86 DRLs remain on when HIDs are turned on.

I believe number 1 and number 3 were bought by people in WA...

Maybe by the calendar, but according to Scion last month badge #'s will supposedly be assigned randomly. Can't say I didn't try.

It's neat but I don't think the stuff they added is worth the wait and price. Would be cooler if instead of a badge on the trunk it said scion and lit up like the dash.

My dealer just told me the 10 Series Scion TC has been delayed and won't be arriving in Canada until August. I'm worried about my FR-S now...anyone have any news?

Nothing about a FR-S delay. The 10 Series TC is a MY2014 and it is produced at a different assembly plant. It is also a refreshed model, so the delay is probably assembly related.

Ok I'll give you that! It's a price you have to pay for innovation sometimes. Though there's a few changes they could've made even better, it's justifiable that we might be able to source these parts from the parts bin once the series 10 is released (if possible).

Maybe one day, they might consider adding these parts to their "wide" assortment of options and accessories. (a man can only dream!)

Do you have any link to back up this? I and most of the others on this forum have known that the Series 10 FRS is a MY2013.
