LOL at you still having the plastic sheet on the inside of the rear side panel. I did too for the longest time.
Love the seat - looking for a rear facing one tho for my soon to be baby.

Don't suppose that one can be rear facing can it? at what age are kids usually 30lbs?

It can not be used rear facing. I can't remember how old our son was when we could switch to front facing.
