I did the exact same thing and I don't regret it at all. The most exciting car Honda makes right now is their mini-van... Glad I jumped ship.

'm pretty sure they're gonna try to come back after they see the frs sales. My sister try to trade her 2010 civic for a new one and I told her its not worth it .the interior looks nice but exterior sucks

I too miss my moonroof, but overall I have the vehicle I always wished the Civic was. I've owned three Si's over the last 21 years, and wouldn't own one with YOUR money today because Honda has gone so far out of their way to ruin every aspect of them.

Your beloved VTEC is all but gone, replaced with a silly display of lights to let you know VTEC is about to engage because of how subdued the feeling is now that it is a diminished version of the old VTEC system.

Yea, you made the right choice. If Mr. Honda were still alive today, he'd immediately die after seeing what they've done to the Civic.
.
.
.
Just a heads up: you CANNOT park like you used to. Your Civic front bumper underneath would clear nearly all curbs at the front of a parking spot, but your FR-S will lose the entire front end if you pull up like the Civic. 4.9" clearance for the FR-S versus 5.9" for the Civic and most every other car.

Those are the main things I miss about my old car compared to the FR-S but I really got over it the second I went for a test drive.

I love honda but right now the frs is best car money can buy for 25k . Seeing how many awards the car has won is impressive. I think later models might include more features like steering audio control and sunroof. I don't understand why they didn't include a sunroof. It probably only adds like 50 pounds. I think it was more like a money issue

What's wrong with the current civic si? My brother had an 8th gen which was nice but otherwise I don't really know anything about them.

And yeah I agree it would be nice if the frs had a sunroof but I can live without it lol
