I don't want to start a brand new thread so I guess I'll hijack this one because it's sort of related. Watching the Gushi drift videos I noticed one thing about the cup holders that bothered me. There is no where to rest you right elbow!

Nissan s13 has a center counsel that serves that purpose but no cup holders.

I wonder if someone will fabricate a kit to convert the FT86/BRZ cup holders in to a center console/armrest.

When I'm driving for six to eight hours in a day, I silently thank whoever invented cupholders.

Maybe a vent clip on could work? Not sure if I would need one though.

I usually use bottles so I don't need them. I just thought the placement was odd. I wish the center console was raised higher similar to the MR2 back in the 90s. I like being able to rest my arm on the console, I don't know why but it feels good.

Or you could read my first ever post. I can't believe it, 100% of my posts involve cup holders. Did I pick the right screen name or what!

... will these cup holders even fit the American Soda cups if in the event you are hungry and you need to realyl stop somewhere. Like the last time I got fast food( I barely eat out lol I like cooking XD) but like I ordered a Medium cup of soda and the damn thing was like a BIG GULP from 7/11 dude that didn't fit in my civic cup holder lol!

Honestly... bottle drinks are best for your car, and eh it's nice FRS has cup holders but I think that's where the change is gonna go and to hold glasses or something lol

I guess the point I was trying to make was: I get cup holders if you have a mini van. Probably need a place to hold your phone too, so you can check your Facebook updates while picking up fries off the floor. Maybe doing a bit of driving while you're at it.

But this thing is a drivers car. Who gives a crap about the cup holders?

Take out the ashtray and file down the sharp edges that would pierce a foam cup.

Cup holders in my cars have never held a drink. Spare change, cell phones, ammo, gum, etc..
