That's the worst thing about this car: the stigma with Riceboys

I was at my buddy's cul de sac where there is a house being constructed. its a pretty nice area so the houses are fairly large and when I reach the large part to do a 180, i get up to 5k rpm. my exhaust is perrin so it sounds loud so it probably sounded like i was going all out. it was 7 at night and when I pull up to my friends house, a construction worker walks over to me and says:
"you pull that shit again, i'll put a rock through your window"
I looked over at the house being built and said:
"cool, i'll know where to send the bill"
more back and forth happened and i finally said
"look, you mind your business and i'll mind mine" and i walked into the house.

I would have threatened him with a cops call warning or something worse.

There was a day i cruised around my vr4. I saw this blue BRZ on the street, while i admiring the owner for owning one of a cool looking car, and didnt even rev up or funny thing.

I was right behind him, and i guess his ego was hurt some how at the red light. The light didnt even turn green. The BRZ guy saw the light of other cars getting yellow, he assumed our light to turn green, so he reved up, and when other light (left, right) got red, he launched.....

Me on the other hand knew that there were left turn green light at that intersection....i busted out laughing, because this was the time i realized how cocky the guy was, and being inside an 170 rwhp 145 torque at the wheel, the WRX owner just needed an ego boost against my Vr4 of 450 awhp and 385 awt.

My wife turned to me and said "cool car, but that kid didnt need to run that red light." I responded "we can report his plate to the police, but why bother, let him have his moment"

All of honesty. I know there are people out there who dislike FRS/BRZ, people out there who would rev, and drive recklessly, or even cocky. But why care ? I am sure those are kids 90% regardless of the driver being in an FRS, Mustang, C6, Viper or whatever you name it, but here i will wage my opinion. Whoever do not realize the differences between platforms = not a sport car enthusiast or just plain out, a retard.

You own your car with pride, and love, and there is no need to drive recklessly on the street to prove that. You owning your car is the proof of it to me. If you want to prove how FAST, how GOOD your car can be, please bring it to the TRACK.

When someone just want to prove how good their car is by recklessly driving in the street, they win me over for having balls. But i dont need to prove that i have balls by endangering my life, and other drivers life. I know my life is of value to my family, and so other drivers in the street. Those reckless driver are titled as "retard" in my category by throwing their life like that

Again, to me the real winner is the one who can afford their cars, regardless of what kind, and the knowledge about their own car and others. True car enthusiast never hate, or drive cocky by seeing other sport cars on the street. True car enthusiast admires. True kid, true teenage = hate, cocky, reckless, balls.
Sounds like your the one with the issue to be frank.

Kids these days...

Real driver enthusiasts know what makes the gt-86 a good car and can appreciate the car for its worth. I dropped in by the speedway in Las Vegas and the guys were very interested in the BRZ when I pulled in for some gas. They followed me out onto the highway and into town, friendly bunch of guys

I've gotten fair share of hate; people are going to judge get used to it.

Some dudes were parking a CLK-class and taking their time doing it, were sitting in the middle of the street with their reverse lights on, so I went around them and the dude looked at my car and yelled BULLSHIT! Hah I bet the "Merceds" was a rental and someone was jealous.

Last night on the Las Vegas strip some asian dudes pulled up in a BMW, one opened the door and proceeded to throw up, first into his hands and then onto the ground right next to me in my BRZ. I don't know if it was intentional, but I was offended. License plate was Beverly Hills BMW. rolleyes

Dirty cheeseburger-gut meatheads and old people who'd never be able to get themselves in a car like that of course hate. Mercedes S-Class drivers tend to run away at sight of my car on the road, I give them a little play but I don't chase. And there's always the frozen looks from WRX drivers who can only drive 30mph on the road (or they burn a tank of gas in one run), I only sometimes get a wave back from WRX drivers, other times it's probably them feeling self righteous about having a a WRX.

My biggest peeve is when I'm sitting in traffic and I eye someone in the rear view mirror or off to the side staring at my car, cupping their hands in a "why" motion while mouthing something like "whyyyuhhh". I even got that from an outback driver yesterday in denver colorado. D-d-d-deal with itt! (note, the first time I saw an audi R8 I had this same reaction, I feel bad now)

I remember judging an fr-s driver really hard when I saw a high school kid driving a hot lava FR-S leaving school. First thought was, ok he likes to drift. Second was he has an AT. I thought it was bullshit that a kid would have so much car, and also I was more of a fan of the WRX and Forester, and them being MT, at the time. It took me a while to come around to liking the FR-S

Being a Mustang owner also, I got a little hate from my fellow Mustangers when they first saw my FR-S. Since the season started, many of them have seen the 'twins' at the track. Now they don't hate anywhere near as much!

I think people just need to understand...

Yeah in Tennessee it's verbal assault http://legal-dictionary.thefreedicti...Verbal+assault I would have called the cops to file a report right then.
