They may have been painted, but I doubt that's vinyl. There are companies selling OEM-style tails that have red lenses, though.

Oh...it is! My car was the first 86 that the installer had done, so it was a learning experience. He had to redo it several times to get the vinyl to stay down. It was even more frustrating since mine is two layers (one red, one smoke).

LOL....Yeah, sorry that's all I got for today....ordering a knockoff rear diffuser next week....besides it was a tough install, you know unfolding it, folding down the visors...taking the pics with my phone...LOL
