drove home from work, turned off the car, sprayed the car off with water and dried it just to get all the damn pollen off the car and when i get back in and start it up i find i now have crickets

Should've never washed it, you only wash the 86 when it demands it. The chirping is its way of showing that it is frustrated. Drive her easy and she might calm down. :P
