Ok so I found out there is 1 Dyno here where I live. So if I bought a tune from whatever company that had maps for ecutec, took my car to the Dyno where I live and got the results, am I able to send the results to 1 of those tuners who could tweak whatever needs to be tweaked?

I have both John Visconti's pump gas tune and FA20 pump gas and E85. I am more than happy with both. Some time ago it was much easier to get hold of Tony (FA20) than John simply because JV was overwhelmed with work and crazy busy. Since then he has got Rich on board and everything seems to run very smoothly and his regular updates are a real bonus.

My butt tells me that JV's tune gives me more power (and a better sound) than FA20's pump gas but the E85 of FA is better still and I am happy with all of them as they are so much better than the stock car.

I would love to get the E85 from JV but don't want to go the flex fuel route or need the hassle of reflashing each time I need to change fuel so I am holding off and awaiting further developments that are in the pipeline. If the pump gas and E85 ever get back on the same tune I will be raiding the piggy bank again

btw - I am in Australia and the support from both has been great so don't worry too much about having to go local!!!

My cars been tuned on a combined effort thanks to AVO, MRT, S&J and Morpowa.

I went with locals because my cars constantly changing spec, I had a poor experience with fa20 club, and I just get a lot better service. Can sit there all day chatting with them about the car & tuning if I want.

No worries - I have been totally satisfied and had nil issues with either tune or tuner so far and it is way cheaper than going local.

If it helps, I reckon FA20 is the best value for money if you are looking at both E85 and pump, but if you are looking for the best pump gas tune I would personally go with Visconti, and his regular updates are a huge bonus.

We built out the reinforced concrete so that semi trailers could pull up to the side 18ft door, back into the door, and offload into the shop.

It worked out great in that regard, as we have had a few covered transports drop off cars in the shop when it was raining outside.

After it was built, we realized we had enough space to do fun things on our own private property, donuts, drift around the building, practice drag launching. It's all in good fun

I must have missed the truthful posts that were removed. The only ones I saw removed were 2nd hand speculative crap.

What others got removed? I'm genuinely asking because I've been absent from this thread for a while....

Well if we told you what was removed it would likely get removed again...

Keywords: vendor bashing other vendors, Visconti, innovate sc, BOOM, email proof of boom, overpriced tunes, same gains, moderator conspiracy... Etc..

Ah, I forgot about the mandatory truth filter on all email systems.

I think the people directly involved would be allowed to post their accounts of things. Mods would look like jerks if they just started deleting peoples posts about their own experiences. It would be AIRAID all over again. LOL. Other than that, I support them deleting things from people posting slander on account of their sisters husbands cousins step fathers brothers son seeing half an email from someone else also 3 degrees removed from what actually happened.

My post was 100% truth and fact. I posted about a POSITIVE experience I had with 2 different tuners and it was deleted. Reason is likely because one experience was better than the other and the tuner who was less positive seems to be a "favored" tuner on this board.

If you read recent posts since the "mass moderation" there are opinions of tuners and experiences that have not been deleted. These opinions happen to favor the right tuner.

I've noticed this as well. Not a fan at all. Moderation should be reserved for removing spam and keeping the tone of the conversations civil.

Editing/removing users' personal reviews to protect paid vendors seems like at best a conflict of interest.

Then again, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong (and this post could be gone shortly.)

If I understood @2forme post correctly, he was not referring to you at all....

Also, there is no personal vendetta here to favor one or another vendor. They are ALL paid sponsors of the forum, ALL EQUAL.

If a negative post has been remove regarding one vendor, but then a negative post about another vendor is not deleted, it might be because of several reasons like,

the post deleted contained offensive and/or derogatory comments while the other one is constructive negative review

the moderator or administrator looking into it did not notice the other post.

I repeat it again, there is NO personal preference from one vendor to another here. It is funny, because you guys have seen negative posts towards one tuner being deleted, or some posts that should be deleted haven't right? But I bet you guys didn't see when that "favored" tuner had HIS posts deleted and given a warning for posting stuff in other vendor threads. That DID happen some time ago. Please, don't judge the work of the admins/moderators without knowing the backstory. The vendors you guys think are "special" are treated just like any other vendor or forum member when it comes to forum rules. If you guys see something out of line not corrected, report it or contact moderators directly and let them know. Chances are they have no idea it is happening.

Edit: Just so we are clear, I cannot moderate any area outside of the Southeast region, so I cant moderate, delete or modify any post in the forum outside of the Southeast Region, I am just posting based on the little bit of knowledge I have regarding what happens between the lines here. DON'T meant to start a shitstorm, just want to offer you guys a little bit of the other side....

Thanks for the explanation.

Do all users whose posts are deleted receive a notification and brief explanation? or are there times when posts are deleted and users don't receive a notification (excluding spam)? I can imagine if a post was deleted without explanation it may make the users suspect a bias, whether or not there actually is one. Sending a quick two sentence explanation with every post deletion may take a little more time, but would go a long way in reducing the sentiment of bias on the boards.

Again, I don't know if either scenario above is happening. I want to be clear that I am not accusing anybody of anything at all. Purely thinking out loud and trying to help keep this place awesome. Keep up the good work!

I completely agree. My only gripe is people posting 2nd+ hand crap. If you weren't the one directly involved, you don't have a right to post it. If you've never actually done business with a vendor, you don't have a right to bash said vendor.
