My only gripe about the car is that I don't have enough time to drive it.

Some of y'all need to hitch up your skirt and get on with it.

I have to push one first and wait a few seconds before I can press the button on the other one. -Crickets. After almost a year of owning this vehicle, I still get the crickets. -Cold weather. The windows refuse to work when the vehicle gets too cold. -Bumper. The left side of my bumper where it meets the fender is loose. The dealer refused to fix it and said it was because the bumper wasn't smooth so it's causing that 3-4 cm gap. -Headlights. Cheap plastic. I hand wash my vehicle and there are tons of tiny little small scratches on the headlights. You can see them at night when the headlights are on. -2nd gear grind. My 2nd gear has been grinding ever since I owned the vehicle. It's not as bad as before, but it still grinds. Other than that, I still like the vehicle...but these are issues Toyobaru need to address.
Funny I have most those problems too.
- Small chips on windshield kind of annoying
- windows are fixable apparently,
- crickets are fixable at least it did for me after replacing HPFP (maybe only temporary),
- my left bumper creaks too when i press it down.
- Haven't scratched my headlight yet, are you using sheepskin or microfiber when you clean?
- 2nd gear is ok, i heard changing the transmission fluid helps. .

This is a BRZ gripes thread. We have the factory LED DRLs and the boomerang light in the headlight. Most of us seem to be happy with it.

You can thank direct injection for that...

That's probably because the teeth are getting ground down. Give it some more time and it should eventually be smooth as glass.

Is it that big of a deal? I just push the start button without the clutch in to put it in acc mode to listen to the radio while the engine is off.

It's a (minor) nuisance to have to turn the car completely off then back on into ACC mode just to finish a song or whatever
