Very interesting that they mounted the MAF in the intake pipe instead of in the throttle body pipe as well. The throttle body pipe looks identical to the way Full Blown and Treadstone does it other than the MAF not being mounted in the tube and no BOV on the Treadstone although Kelly said they were planning to add one.
So no BOV or even BPV?

It had what looked like a billet piece with a valve in it mounted to the turbo that looked like it served as a way to relieve the pressure right before it hit the compressor wheel, but I am not sure that is what it was.

Correct, Olympic does tune for Treadstone since they dont have an inhouse tuner. They were using another tuner in Miami initially but settled with Luigi. They kit looked nice just the turbo choice was based on keeping it all subaru.

A huge thanks

just got back to Ottawa today and access to the forum. Want to say thanks for a great time at the meet and wish I could have stayed longer ( made the mistake of bringing the wife and kid). Was able to see mods that we up here are still fantasizing about, got to meet and chat with some great people and got a real sense of a thriving, helpful community. A special thanks to Lbroskee for letting me know about the event, Nice to meet you as well Dave and thanks for walking me through the turbo install process. A few observations I had:

All colours in this car look great.
The 86 logo on the raven FRS center caps looked fantastic.
The carbon fiber center console piece was awesome. Well done.
The location you chose was fantastic and will be copied up here. Pay for parking and the police can't ask us to leave.
Still have not settled on Turbo or Supercharger.
Counted 26 FRS/BRZ as of 1:10 pm That includes the 2 Raven FRS that showed up just as I was leaving. The red pinstripe looked really good by the way. Anyway once again thanks guys. And let me know if there is one next May as I am usually in Miami at some point in that month.

Just a lot of good and some inexpensive ideas. Next up for me is exhaust, pulley and tune. Gives me a bit more time to decide on the forced induction side of things.

Careful with the pulley. They are all lightweight and not sure if made to handle FI power. Def headerback exhaust and tune tho. They made a huge difference

Pulley is fine as long as build quality is good. I have Perrin which is awesome quality. If I had to do it again, it would be between Perrin and Kartboy.

Does it really make a difference at that level tho? I've considered it but seen small difference even at NA

Its debatable and I get your point, its not a lot. But, every single second you can take off spool time is good.
