Clear your google account details (Settings -> Accounts) and launch the play store. It will ask for your account details again and should let you in.

Ordered the following:

-Ekoore Elija S2 (with red LED's)

If you guys are interested, I will post my experience as soon as the install is finished.
(if all parts make it in time, the install should be this weekend)

Looks like what most of us are looking for. Red LED's, pure android,
capacitive screen.

Please do let us know when you get it. 699 euros is the only sticking point

Judging by the button lineup, it's a rebadged Ca-Fi.

Correct. As far as I can tell the only difference is that the Elija S2 comes with double illumination... you can select either red or green button lights. For the rest the unit is equal to the Ca-Fi 621000.

my 2 cents worth on the leds.. the blue from tun21a is actually quite OK.. its not exceptionally bright.. its not ideal per se, but for a few hundred $ jsut for red/orange ones, I dont mind blue ones.. of course, to each their own =)

3. ELM327 to plug into the OBD2 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Super-Min...1e4efd4&_uhb=1

All pretty cheap. Links are to ebay Oz but you can get from international eBay or dx.cm too.

Actual unit fits with the OEM mounts off the OEM head unit and the OEM dash bezel. Unbolt the original, transfer the mounts from OEM unit to bew oe n bolt bak in using the OEM mount points. One plug to plug into backed the antenna adapter and that's it.

If you don't want to use torque then all you need is item 1

I've been reading everything I could find about installing the TUN21A.

1.So I what you're saying is I can use the OEM bracket to mount the headunit?

2. Do I still need the metra wiring harness?

3. Is everything with the headunit a plug n play other than the WIFI and BT dongles?

4. Will my USB I/O below the a/c control still be functional?

Just gathering some info in advance...

Are there people here who use some kind of Car Home app like Car Home Ultra?

I am looking for an app that offers a car friendly control and that is customizable with themes...
Also a grafic equalizer would be nice to show some animation while listening to music from cd/usb/sd.

Tips and screenshots from custom home screens are welcome!

No only the knockoffs are blue. The 1000$ ca-fi is red/green.

1) Yes, you use the OEM brackets.
2) Yes. Radio and antenna, unless you get the "toyota version" T7019A. Then you will just need the antenna adapter.
3) You can modify it to use it, but out of the box, no.

I'm designing a car launcher myself. Waiting on my graphics guy before I can get screenshots out. The one's I've seen thus far aren't really made for a head unit, so much as a tablet being mounted in a car.

As far as equalizers go, look at Audio Glow Live Wallpaper.
