I have driven things far more powerful than that, but they were not cars.

The most powerful Vehicle (not just cars) I have ever driven (under close supervision xD) would be a 20,000 horsepower cargo ferry. Nothing quite feels like pushing the air throttle down on two 100+ liter EMD V16 Turbo Diesels outputting 10,000 horsepower each. You just feel the whole ship shudder as the giant 8ft diameter props start pushing water around and a multi-thousand ton ship starts moving through the water.

Second would be the 10,000hp sea tug called Thuban

Third most powerful would be the Cigarette boat I got to drive when I was 11, it had 3 Chevy 451's in it outputting about 1600hp total. F***in LOUD!

I've had a personal boating license since I was 14 and was very close to getting my 100 ton commercial captains license when I was 18 but quit as it was not my life's passion. I've been behind the wheel of some VERY large moving objects
Wow awesome XD

I'm awaiting a person that will post that they navigated a USS aircraft carrier...

we used to have a trabant with 26 hp.... BEAT THAT!

i just drove some kinda ford mustang v8. Not sure what was done to it but sounded like a race car.... in idle the car was shaking because of the v8. Almost came. Since i dont drive too many fast cars to me cars with 300-400 hp are the same. Dont really feel the difference if you just drive one every half year.

What's faster, a M6 or a 997 Turbo? I'm too lazy to look up the specs but I've driven both of those.

The most powerful as well as fastest car I know is Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. According to what I've read, the engine power and torque is (330 hp, 243 kW). Toyota is really one of the best car maker in the world. I found my Toyota Camry at one of the very best car lots in Richardson. I got a lot of help from the friendly dealers there. They quickly found the Camry for me after I said I needed an automobile for my family. It is a comfy vehicle that I enjoy driving. I found this dealership with help from: http://cardealexpert.com/city/TX/Houston

Well its not a car but i drive 4500hp trains.

You guys are lucky.

The fast car I've ever driven has been my own. However, when I was stationed in Germany I did max out the speedo a couple of times (165-170ish).

The fastest car I've ever riden in would be my freinds 850hp Supra.

Bleh!! when my friend was stationed in Germany for the AF, he was able to drive his 1 series on the autobahn. Why can't we have something like that in the states?
