Beautiful build you have there. I just read this whole thread and your build thread and enjoyed every post. Only questions I have cause I must have missed it, are you still running the stock clutch? And are you still running the 4.7 rear diff with the supercharger? Or did you go back to stock?

Not much still running the 4.7.
The car with the four tan stock gearing is geared to go 165 miles an hour I'm not gonna see that on any of the tracks we're running. Lol

Has anyone thought about running a methanol injection with this kit? I know it's not available yet, but ptuning has had great results with meth injection on their turbo kit.

Robi's car with the supercharger certainly survived me driving it... which is more than I can say about the stock engine.

Certainly has my seal of approval the way with the way it's running on Robi's car.

That's going to be tough because you need to spray AFTER the rotors so the nozzles would need to be located in the intake manifold and unless you do individual port nozzles it's going to be very difficult to get even distribution.

I thought it was safe to spray in the rotors? I'm not a meth expert but have seen a few people running it.

water / meth is in-compressible and over time i believe it will cause wear to the rotors... same reason people don't spray at the turbo inlet.... It can have a major impact if you do spray a very low volume of water at the turbo inlet, it basically bumps the compressor map up to a larger wheel, but it also causes a lot of wear on the compressor... at least that is what i have read anyway could be 100% BS.

Much like the turbo example... it might make a very nice improvement if it is safe to spray before the rotors..... Guess we need to ask sprintex.

Meth cools great but very corosive... Also add one more layer of complexity simple is fast and safe in a race car.

Agreed and the simplicity is what keeps this kit very interesting to me. I'm just thinking of ways to increase power as I'm sure the numbers aren't going to be game changing.

I am down for nozzles in every runner. No problem with that. Water/meth injection + 91 octane would be nice but it wont reach what you can get with E85.

I don't think water/meth injection boosts power on E85 cars does it?

May as well just add a fuel injector precharger.

If you went with the stage one system it might be easier to fit a nozzle into the plenum. The question is, would the WMI make up for the intercooler?

You can inject water/meth on a screw or roots. If the rotor and screw surface coating is graphite then you may not want to but if it is teflon you can. I have never had any issues with corrosion over the years with methanol or rotor/screw deterioration. Turbos are a little different situation because of the compressor wheel speeds if injecting pre-turbo. The atomized water droplets will literally chip away at the leading edge of the impeller vanes from pure speed almost like a sand blaster. This eventually deteriorates the compressors ability to flow as it should over a considerable amount of time.

Personally I wouldn't be afraid to use water/meth at all. It was when I first started playing with PDs that I became such a water/meth supporter.

I agree 100% and with E85 i don't see any need... thankfully i have several stations near me now
