That's kinda where I'm at. If they made yellow I think I would be all over it. My favorite is black. But with two kids, I'm not cleaning my car like I used to. A black car needs constant attention.

The dealer just called and informed me they would be giving me pretty much what I wanted for my trade. So I informed him I would like the Red one. I'm going tomorrow to sign on the line and setup a delivery date.

So happy I bought this, I looked at other coupes before buying but this one made me feel the way that my mind says a real sports car should make you feel.

Looking forward to seeing what others do with their cars and getting ideas for mine. I have not done much looking yet, but does replacing the air box and assembly void your warranty?
Welcome aboard! I took delivery on mine 4/3/13...and just like you, I love every freakin second of it! Nice to see another Firestorm around..

My choice was between the FR-S and a Civic Si as well. I test drove the FR-S first, and after that, the Civic was just soulless. Driving it felt like taking grandma to the hairdresser. It was more comfortable and well apportioned on the inside, but dang, you see a lot of them on the road. And an Si doesn't look much different from any other Civic (which, btw, my 17 y/o daughter drives one). I've only ever seen 1 other FR-S and one BRZ on the roads around here.

So FR-S it is. It was surprisingly hard to find a manual in a color I liked.

Good choice Jeff! Welcome! Same boat here - Local dealers all had several hot lava and firestorm and I got the last Raven. I've seen one blue BRZ and one whiteout FRS in my area and that's it!

I had to check and see if we live in the same town, because that's exactly what I've seen, a blue BRZ and a white FR-S.

When I went out for test drives I ended up driving the Civic Si and the FR-S. Coming from a '00 Civic Si I wanted to see what the newest Civic had to give. I test drove the FR-S first and after that test drive nothing else compared. Had to drive an hour away to get a Whiteout in 6 Speed MT, but it was worth it! No accessories from the dealer.

I just love that the FR-S is a car of it's own, there isn't an FR-S EX and an FR-S Si so you won't see them as often. There's so much that I love about this car and I'm sure it will only get better with time and small mod projects.

You can see my friend/neighbor's brand new MazdaSpeed3 in the background, we both joined the brand new car club!

Hello all,

Just picked up my new Whiteout FRS Monday night, and could not be happier. I'm a Service Writer at a Toyota dealership and have had to stare at a row of them almost every day for months, and decided it would be my next toy.

My previous summer car was a Porsche 996 and after getting it out of storage this year decided I had enough years/fun with it and it was time to move on (and get a FRS). Definitely no regrets.

The FRS/BRZ is such a fun little car that is actually drive-able daily w/o being exhausting like the 996 was. Cant wait to get it broken in and go to a few auto-x/track days.

Hello

My name is Jay. I'm new here from the Nashville area. I picked up my Raven FR-S two weeks ago on Saturday, and so far I'm having a blast with it.

This was a big factor when I chose mine. I didn't have to worry about the next model having upgrades along with a price hike. At least for Scion, the beauty of our cars is that there's just an FR-S. It's identity would be determined by what the driver sees for that car. Welcome aboard!
