i havent had anyone comment on my car while driving since ive owned it but today i had two people tell me they liked it

Same here. It's like spontaneous, and happens once a month. One day I was leaving campus and these guys who passed my car as I was getting in told me that I have a nice car. Then when I was leaving, this guy gave me a thumbs up. I think he may have been the owner of the SWP BRZ.

I get a lot of comments on the color from random people who don't even know what the car is. I think that contributes about 70% of the comments for me. I do enjoy the "what kinda Toyota is that?" question every once in a while though.
