The top dog executive in my work office never was much into sports cars and drove a 7-series BMW. When I started parking next to him, he noticed and complimented my car. Last week he traded in his Bimmer for a Maserati. Seeing as nobody else in the office drives a sports car, I like to think I influenced his decision.

Every time I feel obligated to tell them it's RWD. They all go "Oh, nice!" That's kind of the most important thing about the car. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. The Toyota logos throw people off even when they have seen an FR-S. I had a guy ask me today about the car after walking around it and looking at the Toyota and GT86 logo. After I said it's an FR-S he goes "I thought I'd seen that car before."

I want someone to put on a Ferrari badge, Aston badge or a Maserati badge and see what the reactions are lol.

I mean, people are already confusing it with those....

I had some redneck guy come up to me at the car wash and enthusiastically ask if it was the 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder. I told him they only come with 4 cylinders and he proceeded to blab on about how they put V6's in the FR-S; but they were "super expensive." Next he shared with me how he intended to crank out 500hp in his son's Cavalier (with NOS and a Turbo) that his son was busy washing at the time. You can't make this stuff up!
